Bridport born, I have been in Broadoak for almost 30 years as part of the management team at Denhay Farms, producing farmhouse cheddar and bacon.  Contributing to the local community is a privilege (most of the time!) and I am also committed to our local churches, village hall and the Bridport Food Festival amongst other things.

My wife Elaine and I moved to West Bay nearly four years ago having fallen in love with the area following a number of wonderful holidays over many years.  I am semi-retired from running my own consultancy business and working for a major financial services company where I managed their catering and travel services in the UK.  Hospitality and customer service is in my blood.  I spend most of my time looking after our large garden but I am also on the West Cliff House Owners Association Committee as well as Treasurer for the Bridport Christian Fellowship.

David Wragg
Parish Clerk
Acorn Cottage, Broadoak, Bridport, Dorset, DT6 5NN
Tel: 01308 458000

I became clerk in May 2004.  It is a challenging post with changing needs.  Meeting the deadlines set by the council provides the discipline needed to establish a routine which I welcome.  Having lived in the parish for the last 19 years I am reminded, almost daily, how fortunate we are to live in this beautiful spot.
